I Moved To Sweden!

And it took over a month for me to tell you! Yes, I've been here since early October and I've settled in well. We were so lucky in that we found an apartment right away and my husband was able to get a new position with the same company from back in the States. The first time we moved to Sweden back in 2012, we were not so lucky. We had to live with my mother-in-law and we had no jobs. I was depressed and pregnant. So, that was pretty much the reason why we didn't last the first time. But this time around, it's been nothing but smooth sailing. And no matter what, it's permanent. 

We live in Malmö, which is in Skåne (south of Sweden). It's such a beautiful region of Sweden. The best part for me is that Malmö is a 20-minute train ride across the bridge into Copenhagen. I get the best of both worlds! I've been taking it easy and exploring my neighborhood but I plan to do the same in Copenhagen soon. I've been there loads already but I want to get to know it intimately which I haven't been able to do in the past. Everything seems different living here versus just visiting... It feels real in a way that it didn't before. All I can say is that I'm super excited and happy--even though it's hella cold. But I'm feeling like a new woman!
